There is a saying that blood is thicker than water referring to family ties over friends or acquaintances.  In our current culture we see a lot of brokenness in many families, communication is absent and many relationships completely severed.  

 

It is through the blood of Christ that this is saying holds true.  We are all brothers and sisters through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, we strive to act on every opportunity to serve those in our community and especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.

 

So then, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. -Galations 6:10
